None of this is complicated and none of it is a product we are selling you. It is the difference between nine days and twenty-one, and the first one on the list does most of the work.
Oil at the cuticle, every day
Gloves for washing up
Never pick it off
Oil, every day, at the cuticle
The single thing that makes the most difference and the one nobody does. A drop at the base of each nail, rubbed in, once a day. It keeps the nail plate flexible, and a flexible nail plate does not crack the gel sitting on it.
Gloves for washing up and for cleaning products
Hot water and detergent get under the free edge and lift a gel from underneath. This is the commonest reason a set that should have lasted three weeks lasted nine days.
Your nails are not tools
Staples, tape, car doors, tab tops. Everybody knows this and everybody does it. The nail that goes first is almost always the index finger of your dominant hand, which is the tell.
Do not pick it off
When gel lifts, the temptation is to peel it — and peeling takes layers of nail plate with it. That is where the thin, bendy, white-flecked nail underneath comes from, and it takes three to six months to grow out. Book a soak-off. It is twenty-two dollars and half an hour.
Regular polish: the first hour matters
Touch-dry in ten minutes, hard in an hour. Bags, pockets and car keys in the first hour are what leaves the print of a fabric weave in a top coat.
Come back before it fails, not after
Every service on the price list has a cadence next to it. A fill at two to three weeks is a sixty-minute appointment; the same set at five weeks is usually a removal and a new set.
Files and buffers are single use. Files, buffers and wooden sticks are single use and binned in front of you. Steel is washed and steam sterilised, and every pedicure gets a fresh liner.
Why oil is the whole answer
A nail plate that has oil in it bends. A nail plate that has dried out is rigid, and a rigid nail under a rigid gel is two hard things that have to crack somewhere. One drop at the base of each nail, rubbed in, once a day, is the single highest-return thirty seconds in this whole trade — and it is the thing nobody does, including most of the people who work in salons.
We are not selling you the oil
Any oil will do and the cheapest one in the pharmacy is fine. There is no product brand named anywhere on this website and there is not going to be one here. If you want to buy it at the counter you can, and if you want to buy it anywhere else that is genuinely the same to us.
The habit that does the damage
Peeling. When gel starts to lift, the loose edge is an invitation and almost everybody accepts it. What comes away is not just the gel — it is layers of the nail plate underneath, which is where the thin, bendy, white-flecked nail comes from and why it takes three to six months to grow out. A soak-off is half an hour and it costs less than a manicure. Book it.

Six tables · three pedicure chairs · a published price for everything
Book an appointment
Pick the service and any add-ons and the calendar adds up the minutes before it looks for a slot, so the times you are offered are times that actually fit what you asked for. A pedicure also needs one of the three chairs, and if none is free at four o'clock on a Saturday it will say so rather than book you in and hope.
