Six people, four or five days each. What is written under each name is what that person actually does all day, which is a more useful thing to know than a job title.

Marisol Vega
Owner, and at the third table
Structured gel and builder gel
Marisol opened the studio in 2015 with three tables and did every appointment herself for the first year. She still works the third table four days a week and does the ordering, the rota and the arguing with the landlord on the other one. If a set has been going wrong for months and nobody has worked out why, it usually ends up in front of her.
Thu-Ha Nguyen
Extensions
Acrylic and hard gel, full sets and fills
Thu-Ha has built extensions for eleven years and does almost nothing else. She is the reason the shop takes hard gel bookings at all: it is slower, it pays no better per hour and she prefers it, because it is lighter on the nail and it does not fill the room with a smell.
Rina Ocampo
Pedicures and treatments
Pedicures, callus work and paraffin
Rina works the pedicure chairs and has a following of people who walk on their feet for a living — nurses, cooks, two bus drivers and a mail carrier. She will tell you the honest thing about callus, which is that reducing it is the job and removing it is not.
Danna Ruiz
Nail art
Hand-painted art, chrome and cat-eye finishes
Danna paints. She took the art bookings over in 2021 and the studio's whole lookbook is her work on loose tips, painted on quiet Sunday afternoons so that what you are choosing from is what you would actually get. Bring a picture; she would rather work from one than from a description.
Emil Duran
Pedicures, repairs and removals
Pedicures, removals and single-nail repairs
Emil came in for a Saturday shift in 2021 and stayed. He does the removals nobody enjoys — the hour-long ones on a set somebody has been picking at for a month — and he does them slowly, which is the only way it is worth doing at all.
Yelena Boyko
Manicures and gel
Dry manicures, gel and the children's appointments
Yelena works dry — no soak, no water, cuticles done with a bit and a fine hand — which is why a gel manicure of hers lasts a few days longer than one that started in a bowl. She takes most of the children's appointments, and she is patient with them in a way the rest of us can only manage in twenty-minute bursts.
Why there are no certificates on this page
Every salon website in this trade has the same section: a row of seals, a course name, a body
somebody is a member of. None of it tells you anything about the person who will be sitting opposite
you, and a certificate photographed in 2019 tells you nothing at all about a Tuesday in 2026.
What is under each name here is how long they have done this and what they do all day. That is the
thing you can actually check, because you will be watching them do it.
There are no certificates on this website. This site describes what happens at the table. It does not display certificates, memberships or ratings, because a photograph of a certificate tells you nothing about the person who will be sitting opposite you.
Asking for somebody
Say so when you book and the calendar will only show you times that person is genuinely working —
including their lunch, which is a real forty-five minutes and not a slot. If they are away, you will be
told rather than quietly given somebody else.
Three of the six build extensions and the booking form knows it, so a full set will only ever be
offered in their hours. That is not queue management: a full set is not something to hand to somebody
who does one a month.
Tips
Go to the person who did the work, in full. Nothing is pooled and the shop does not take a share.
There is no service charge on the bill.
Six tables · three pedicure chairs · a published price for everything
Book an appointment
Pick the service and any add-ons and the calendar adds up the minutes before it looks for a slot, so the times you are offered are times that actually fit what you asked for. A pedicure also needs one of the three chairs, and if none is free at four o'clock on a Saturday it will say so rather than book you in and hope.
