Terms
Short, because there is not much to say when nothing is taken at the point of booking. These are the terms an appointment here is made on.
The booking
An appointment booked through this website is confirmed when you receive the confirmation e-mail. It holds a named technician and, for a pedicure, one of the 3 chairs, for the length of time the service and add-ons you chose add up to. Nothing is taken from you at the point of booking.
Cancelling and moving
Cancel or move an appointment up to twenty-four hours before it starts, from the link in your confirmation, and there is nothing to pay. Inside twenty-four hours we ask you to telephone, because the slot can often still be filled if we know early enough. There is no cancellation fee on a standard appointment. A group booking takes a deposit when the date is confirmed, and that is said plainly on the group page rather than here.
Running late
Your slot is held for 15 minutes. After that, what we can do depends on what is booked behind you, and it is often a shorter version of the same service at the shorter price. We will not run your appointment into somebody else's.
Prices
The price shown for a service is the price for that service, whatever shape or length you choose. Add-ons carry their own price and their own minutes. Prices on this site are before New York State and City sales tax, which is added at the counter. Payment is by card or cash when you are finished.
The seven-day repair
If a nail on a set we applied lifts, chips or breaks within seven days, come back and it is put right at no charge. Past seven days it is ordinary wear and it is a repair at the price on the list. This is not a warranty on the set; it is what we do when something goes wrong early.
What we will refuse
There is a page listing the situations in which we stop rather than start — a nail that has lifted from the bed, anything that looks infected, broken skin, gel or acrylic on an under-twelve. If that happens at your appointment, there is nothing to pay for the part we did not do.
What we do not claim
Nothing on this site claims a rating, an award, a membership, an accreditation or a qualification. Nothing on it promises how long your particular set will last, because that depends on your hands. And nothing on it names a product brand.
The website
The copy, the design and the images on this site belong to Woodside Nail Studio, LLC. Every image on it was generated rather than photographed.
And the part that matters here. This is a demonstration website. Woodside Nail Studio is not a real business, no appointment booked here is a real appointment, and the telephone number is a placeholder. It was built to show what a small salon gets for a fixed price.
