The neighbourhood
This is a shop on 61st Street between Roosevelt and Woodside Avenue, four minutes from the station, in a part of Queens where most people walk to what they use.
Woodside is a walking neighbourhood, which is why a salon here lives or dies on being on a street people already cross. Most of our regulars come from within eight blocks and get here on foot.
The 7 train and the Long Island Rail Road share 61st Street-Woodside, which puts Grand Central eighteen minutes away and Times Square about twenty-five. A good part of the Saturday book is people who work in Manhattan and would rather have their nails done at home.
Sunnyside, Jackson Heights, Astoria and Elmhurst are all a short ride or a long walk. Maspeth and Middle Village are ten minutes by car if you can find somewhere to leave it.
Where people come from
A salon that claims to serve all of New York is claiming nothing. These are the places people genuinely come here from.

Book an appointment
Pick the service and any add-ons and the calendar adds up the minutes before it looks for a slot, so the times you are offered are times that actually fit what you asked for. A pedicure also needs one of the three chairs, and if none is free at four o'clock on a Saturday it will say so rather than book you in and hope.
