About the pictures on this website
What a nail photograph does not show
This is the most visual trade in the world and the pictures are doing more selling than the words are. So here is exactly what they are and what they are not.
The lookbook is loose tips, and that is deliberate
Every swatch on this site was painted on loose press-on tips laid on linen, not on a model. Two reasons. The first is that what you are choosing is the finish, and a photograph of a hand is mostly a photograph of a hand — the skin tone, the length of the fingers and the light are doing half the work, and none of them will be yours. The second is that this is exactly what a real swatch rack is, and it is what we will hand you at the table.
Nobody's hands are on this website
No client, no member of staff, no stock photograph of a stranger. We ask before photographing anybody's hands and we take no for an answer, and the simplest way to keep that promise on a website is not to have any.
Every image here was generated
The room, the tools, the tiles, the street and the portraits are all generated images rather than photographs of a real place, because this is a demonstration website for a business that does not exist. Saying so on its own page seemed better than leaving it as something you work out.
What a swatch cannot tell you
How a colour sits on your skin tone, which is the one thing that decides whether you like it. How it looks on your nail shape and length. Whether a very sheer nude will show a ridge you have. And how it looks in the light where you actually are — every swatch on this page is photographed in warm afternoon light, and an office ceiling is not that.
Which is why the rack is at the table
Bring the picture. Then hold three sticks against your own hand under the lamp and pick the one you meant. It takes ninety seconds and it is the reason people are happy with what they leave with.
Every finish here was painted on loose tips. Every finish in the lookbook was painted on loose tips rather than on a hand, so what you are choosing is the finish and not somebody's hands. Nothing on this website is a client.
Six tables · three pedicure chairs · a published price for everything
Book an appointment
Pick the service and any add-ons and the calendar adds up the minutes before it looks for a slot, so the times you are offered are times that actually fit what you asked for. A pedicure also needs one of the three chairs, and if none is free at four o'clock on a Saturday it will say so rather than book you in and hope.
